Micromouse and UKMARS
Its been a while since I last posted on my blog! The xylophone player now works pretty well, and I have moved on to other things. Back in 1982(!) along with one of my then colleagues, I tried my hand at the micro mouse competition. We did not devote enough time or energy to this project, and although we entered and constructed a mouse, it never got out of the starting square! Move on to October 13th 2018 and I was an attendee at the UKMARS event in Hazelmere, High Wycombe, Berkshire. There were drag races, line follower races and the culmination was the micro mouse contest.
